Tips for Abundant Living
You can make a Positive Difference in your own life and in the lives of your fellow men. The sky is the limit. There is plenty of room at the Top. But the bottom is already over-crowded. Be a Leader and not a mere follower.
Young People, you are the Present and the Future of all human societies, including your own. Accordingly, if you desire to live in a fairer, better, healthier, more peaceful and prosperous world, now and in future, you should help to bring that about. Do not be a mere spectator, sit back and expect other fellow human beings to do it for you. Be an Actor. Do not follow the crowd. Be yourself.
To that end:
- Value Human Lives more than material things
- There is so much man-made evil and wickedness in our world today that need fixers. A lot of crime is committed by Young People. This is Juvenile Crime. Some young people languish and waste away in prisons and youth offenders institutes. Some just live useless unproductive anti-social lives under the control of illegal substances. Their valuable lives are being wasted. You can be different. You can be one of the fixers and not the perpetrators of crime and vice. That means you do not have to follow peer pressure.
- Whenever you come across anything wrong in your society that upsets you, do not just moan about it and do nothing. Fix it if you can and mobilize other Young People to your Good Cause. Be a Change-Agent rather than a victim of Change.
- Make a Positive Difference in your own life and in the lives of your fellow human beings.
- Do no evil to any of your fellow human beings, because there is so much good left undone. Put a smile on someone’s miserable face.
- Save a life rather than harm a life. Always treat others as you would like to be treated by the world. Make sure that whatever business you engage in is lawful, ethical, decent and harmless to any of your fellow human beings. The end should not justify the means. Making money alone should not be your main motive, but providing a safe and ethical product or service that people need and want.
- We are all part of one family of God, made in His own image, created for good works, not for evil.
- Always embrace the good and shun evil. Have some Moral Principle to live by.
- Always do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
- Do not judge anyone by their tribe, race, religion, political affiliation, level of education, social status. We are God’s children made in His own image, of one blood from one set of parents, Adam and Eve. God created variety. Whenever we judge people by what they are, we are blaming God their Maker.
- In all your dealings with others, always aim for a win/win outcome. You will feel good about it.
- A good name is to be esteemed more than riches, says the ancient Israel King Solomon. A bad name is bad for business.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom.
You are not too young to start a business and Create your own sustainable Work and source of income. The best business you will ever work for is the one that you have created. You are also the bast master of your destiny.
