The need for People Leaders
In order to function effectively as groups, communities, business or charity organisations, nations, etc, people need Leadership to show them the way to do things. Without leadership they are harassed and confused like sheep without a shepherd. This is what Jesus Christ told His disciples when He observed the masses of His day.
The same is true even this day. People need leaders. Under democratic systems, voters choose their leaders, whom they deem capable of the tasks. They lack confidence to go it alone.
There are good leaders and bad leaders, kind leaders and wicked leaders, leaders who care more for themselves and leaders who put the interest of those they lead before their own.
How people become leaders
They:
- are chosen or anointed by God
- inherit the title as in monarchies or clans
- start a family
- succession
- start a movement
- stage a military coupe
- democratically elected
- get promoted
- start a business
- inherit an existing family business
