Unemployment is a chronic, global social problem that needs addressing by all of us – governments and their citizens

Idle hands are the workshop of Satan, said King Solomon of ancient Israel. Unemployment or idleness are major contributing factors to rampant and escalating urban juvenile and other crime and vice. Work is therefore one of the most powerful, sustainable and effective natural weapons to counteract these vices. Not only tough state
law-enforcement and harsh prison sentencing. These measures simply attempt to address symptoms and not their underlying causes. We try to address the cause.

Our bodies were designed for Work

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made….” The Psalmist. Our Physical and Mental bodies were purposely designed by our Maker for Work. In order to keep them fit and healthy, they need to be constantly exercised by action. That means putting them to regular constructive Work. If we can not find regular work, we should create it. If we do not know how, we should learn. Creating work can be learnt just like any occupational skill.

Steps to Starting and running a business in a nutshell

About yourself	First know yourself and whether business is for you.
The Market Segment	Identify a market segment (niche) that your businesses will serve. specialise if you can.
Identify unmet needs or wants	Identify people’s needs and wants and source or make products or services to meet them.
Create needs and wants	People are not always rational. They may not know what they are missing. Create a need.
Ideas and where to find them	There are many sources of business ideas. Keep an open mind for them. One is Change.
Product or service	Your business could provide either a product or services or do both.
B2B or B2C	Your business can supply either other businesses (B2B) or consumers (B2C) or both.
Legal form	The main legal forms are: Sole trader, Partnership, Limited company
Premises to run the business from Books of Accounts Dealing with Tax Authorities	Your business needs business premises to trade from, be registered with tax authorities, keep records and accounts and submit annual tax returns for tax assessment.

 

 

Even though there is plenty of Work that needs to be done, sadly unemployment is a chronic global social problem. It is also a major contributing factor to poverty, crime and vice. This is because the urban masses do not know how to Create their own Work. They depend on a few private and public sector employers to hire them. We want to change that dependency culture.

We are in the business of empowering People to:

• help themselves into honest, sustainable, lawful, decent and ethical Work
• become self-reliant rather than depend on an employer to hire and pay them or the state
• be their own bosses and and not servants
• take full control of their entire working lives
• earn according to their abilities and not according to the dictates of an employer
• work where they want to how they want to when.

Our Mission

Our Business and reason for existence is to promote and facilitate Work-Creation. Do so Professionally, with as many people (regardless of qualification, sex or age or age), as are willing to help themselves into work and earning. That way, hopefully, together, we can help alleviate chronic global unemployment, poverty, the spread of vice, crime, ill-health, homelessness and many other unemployment-related social problems.

The High Value of Work to Humanity

Work is an inseparable and essential part and parcel of life. It is our birth right as well as a responsibility for every mentally and physically healthy adult male and female. Without work, the human race simply can not survive. It would become extinct. Without Work, man can not meet even his most basic material needs, such as water, food, shelter, clothing.

Even the most simple economic activities such as sourcing and collecting water, fuel from the source, wild foods from the wild, fishing, hunting, trapping, etc involve some skill and Work. And there will always be work to be done for as long as life on earth shall continue, as long as we have the skills to create it.

We Create Work whenever we identify and meet other people’s and our own needs and wants. We do so paid or unpaid. The less developed a country is, the more unmet needs and wants and the more opportunities there are for Creating Work by meeting those unmet needs and wants.

Work is necessary even for its own sake. As a hobby or for charity. Our powerful, often under-utilized brains and bodies (strong muscles and limbs) were designed for work. To keep them healthy, we must constantly exercise them. That means doing some Work. Work is a therapy often used for rehabilitating mental patients.

Unemployment: a global social problem: the causes and the solution

The irony is that even though there is so much Work around the world in need of doing, unemployment is still a serious, chronic global problem, especially in less developed countries. Too many idle, jobless skilled and unskilled (educated and uneducated) job-seekers are constantly chasing too few ready-made jobs.

The Reason

The reason for that is very simple. Too few people, especially in urban areas, simply do not know how to Create their own Work. That knowledge is not normally taught as part of our ordinary education system, except in a few university courses. For the masses, in order to work, they have to rely on a tiny minority of Work-Creator/employers to hire and pay them. They do not have the necessary skills to create their own.

How to Create Work (Self-Employment) is a skill that can be learnt by anyone of average intelligence. That includes children. For centuries, even among very primitive human societies, free people in rural communities with access to resources, have always created their own Work. They still do to this date.

The Solution: Our Business

We are in business to impart that Create Work knowledge the Professional way, for a modern fast-changing economic environment. Our aim is to empower People to help themselves and to be self-reliant and also do the same for others. We have done that for ourselves and working together, we will do it with you.

This is a hands-on initiative involving Theory and Practice. Depending on yourself, you could even earn from your Project while you learn a skill that will last you for as long as you are able and willing to keep on working. You may never be jobless. You will be providing an essential service that every adult needs. There is no limit to the potential market.
